Senior Associate, Private Equity

Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong analytical mindset, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This person will work closely with their investment team to evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and investment opportunities

• Evaluate and screen potential investment opportunities, including reviewing pitch decks, financial models, and other relevant materials

• Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, financial analysis, and reference checks

• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee

• Support portfolio companies, including monitoring performance, providing strategic guidance, and identifying opportunities for growth and value creation

• Work closely with other members of the investment team to support deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Passion for technology
