The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of Investment Banking, Consulting, or Finance experience for a Winter or Summer 2024 start, highly analytical skills, a self-starter mindset, and strong communication skills. Opportunity Summary: Chicago-based Private Equity firm looking for an Associate (Potential for Multiple Hires) to focus on direct buyouts of growth-oriented technology-enabled business services and healthcare services companies.
Job Duties:
• Evaluate new transaction opportunities and complete Opportunity Assessments
• Work with senior investment professionals on generating new investment theses
• Assist in transaction due diligence and the overall underwriting process
• Spearhead the development of complex financial models, investment committee memorandums, and other pertinent due diligence deliverables
• Monitor portfolio company performance
• Participate with the firm operations team in driving portfolio company operational value creation
• Assist portfolio company management teams with the execution of strategic growth initiatives
• Produce analysis and materials for investor relations
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of investment banking, management consulting, or buyside experience
• Healthcare services and/or business services industry experience a plus
• Solid financial statement, accounting, financial modeling, and valuation skills
• Strong work ethic and exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities
• Highly motivated and entrepreneurial drive
• Ability to manage and handle a wide range of responsibilities as a member of a small deal team

Compensation: Competitive
Program: Two-year position, with a third-year option and potential for career track for top performers (MBA not required for promotion)
