Senior Associate Delivery Manager

As a Lead Site Reliability Delivery Manager, you will help us lead the SRE Engineering team to ensure Draftkings services run continuously and smoothly as we bring game-changing experiences to our users. As a member of the Delivery Management team, your primary objective will be to guide projects through the software development lifecycle with maximum efficiency, transparency and organization. You will be heavily involved with roadmap execution (new and existing feature development) and day to day engineering operations for a particular focus area. You will serve as the liaison between a team of software engineers and cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Marketing and other areas of the organization during the planning and execution of features, enhancements and quality improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS an Associate Delivery Manager for SRE

• Facilitate the prioritization and sequencing of backlog items to align with value and strategic importance
• Assist with measurement of team-level Objectives & Key Results
• Translate product requirements into ticket-level acceptance criteria with clear and detailed user stories
• Coordinate with Release Managers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain expected cadence
• Provide transparent reporting on project progress, risk factors, launch plans and results
• Participate and contribute in regular project-centric meetings and agile ceremonies
• Experience working with Scrum/Agile
• Maintain up-to-date tracking of roadmap commitments and align expectations between Product and Engineering stakeholders
• Regularly review processes, identify inefficiencies, and improve to reduce the manual efforts
• Assist in leading our SRE teams efforts across multiple projects
• Identify and track cross-team dependencies during project planning and development
• Work with engineers to ensure tickets have thorough and accurate technical implementation notes
• Act as a leader, advocate and team member working alongside one or more agile development teams
• Balance resource limitations to maintain the highest-quality product standards while also achieving quarterly roadmap goals

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Experience with customer advocacy, process improvement, and analytical analysis are all pluses
• Experience leading engineering teams and guiding technology roadmaps
• 3+ years of experience in project management or scrum/agile practices
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a technical or analytical field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of technical terminology related to software applications & infrastructure
• Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills
• Experience completing customer-facing software projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Familiarity or interest in sports betting industry and product landscape is a strong plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,000.00 - $114,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
