Senior Accountant

This position will be responsible for full-cycle corporate accounting of 5-6 company entities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, providing guidance to other individuals on the team, and assisting the Controller when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in other areas of finance/accounting as needed
• Full cycle accounting role including journals, reconciliations, reporting, month-end close, and problem solving
• Assist with AP, vendor management, and sales tax calculations
• Prepare ad hoc ACH drafts, credit card payment, and receipts of wires
• Process and review monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrate effective organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Review work and provide direction to team of bookkeepers

Requirements:

• Well-rounded knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Experience in Sage100 or QBO preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 2-3+ years of full-cycle, multi-entity accounting experience required
