The Senior Accountant will process and evaluate accounting data through reconciliations and analysis of general ledger activity to ensure accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements as required by the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly domestic theatre profit and loss statement reviews
• Ad-hoc analysis of various accounts with comparisons to prior year or budget as necessary
• Analyze general ledger activity and make adjustments when necessary
• Assist field and corporate office personnel with questions regarding departmental expenses
• Prepare journal entries to record monthly revenue and expense accruals
• Complete balance sheet account reconciliations, including reconciliations of theatre and corporate-level bank accounts, in accordance with established policy
• Collaborate with other Finance teams to share information on new activity, unusual trends or other fluctuations in accounting data

Requirements:

• Workday experience a plus
• Blackline tools a plus
