Senior Accountant Jobs

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuous improvement projects, policy/procedure enhancement
• Provide guidance to staff
• Ensures that the close and reporting processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Responsible for review and variance compilation for board reporting.
• Performs special analysis and projects as requested by finance department leaders.
• Maintains proper documentation as needed to ensure compliance with controls along with coordination of annual audit requests.
• Responsible for review of monthly and/or quarterly reports required and preparation of financial statements.
• Post-acquisition integration work

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Must have a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and be able to apply these principles to corporate accounting.
• 3+ years w/ audit and general accounting experience in a mid-market to large manufacturing or distribution organization
• BS Accounting, CPA ++
• People management skills/experience
