The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of accounting experience including exposure to or experience working with company leases.


  • Act as a liaison between the company and its external auditors during audits and reviews
  • Analyze and reconcile lease expense, notable straight-line adjustments
  • Analyze and research monthly financial statement variances
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and monthly closing aspects of corporate accounting functions
  • Be accountable to general ledger close and other deadlines
  • Create and maintain manual spreadsheets to expense and net present value for company leases
  • Share anomalies and inconsistencies with leadership and assist with resolution to manage ambiguities.
  • Prepare financial statements and complete account reconciliations


Education Required


  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related


Experience Required


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer accounting software, specifically J.D. Edwards preferred
  • 5 years of related general accounting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of basic financial statement fundamentals, ledgers, and journal entries
  • Prior experience with or exposure to working with company leases
  • Expertise in MS Excel including pivot tables and data manipulation
