The A.C. Coy Company has an immediate opening for an Application Engineer. Ideal candidates must have at least 1-2 years of related experience and has the responsibility of supporting application designs on the product line.

• Develops effective relationships with distributors, regional sales managers, and customers
• Provides technical support to Marketing regarding sales inquiries, equipment application, and engineering analysis
• Coordinates with Operations to ensure quoted product is viable
• Works as a support role for Product Managers
• Creates and maintains manufacturing processes relative to the assigned product line
• Responsible for project management of new application designs and requirements as specified by customers
• Other duties as assigned
• Evaluates bids from vendors, analyzes and interprets technical requirements from customer inquiries and specifications
• Writes technical specifications for equipment
• Responds promptly to customer requests for service and assistance
• Interacts and coordinates designs with Design Engineering
• Provides technical training to manufacturing and quality staff
• Develops and coordinates project plans, communicating changes and progress

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering BSME, BSIE, or BSEE is required

Experience

• One to two years’ related experience required
• Travel, including driving and overnight stays, is occasionally required
• Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Hydraulic experience is preferred
