Job Description

Guard Contract Management
  • Regularly audit invoices and authorize payment for services provided
  • Efficiently manage the physical security budget
  • Manage all aspects of the on-site contract guard company
  • Manage Post Orders for security company accountability
  • Ensure proper guard staffing to ensure optimal protection of assets
  • Set and monitor guard training standards including ongoing training
Physical Security Systems
  • Train employees in security awareness and required security procedure
  • Perform regular security surveys and vulnerability assessment to ensure adequate countermeasures are in place
  • Facilitate the placement of Security stickers seals on all smart phone camera devices and inspect upon exit
  • Manage all aspects of the physical security systems including magnetometers, X-ray, EAS, access control system, CCTV/VMS, LPR, PSIM, Data Protection Technology (DPT) and PC port locks
  • Develop and update relevant security policies and training
Access Control
  • Audit abnormal site access to the site and restricted areas
  • Maintain separation between production and construction areas
  • Manage the ID badging system for employees, contractors and visitors
  • Maintain a system or carry-in and out for property
  • Set intelligent and limited access levels
  • Manage the Truck Gate and other vehicle entry points
Reports, Audits, Training, Investigations
  • Perform security audits of related SKO battery business companies
  • Perform professional non-confrontational interviews with employees and contractors to assist in gathering facts for investigations
  • Keep audit evidence and training records organized and readily available for response to government and internal audits
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of relevant KPIs
  • Review incident reports and perform investigations as necessary
External Threats
  • Train employees in the response to external threats
  • Develop and maintain plans for response to external threats
  • Develop new systems and countermeasures for external threats
  • Maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement to coordinate responses to threats
Qualifications:
  • Management of access control and CCTV/VMS systems
  • APP, CPP preferred, not required
  • Contract guard management experience (1 + years)
  • Security surveys and site management experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
