Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the overall security operations program for LendingPoint. Develops and implements security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's personnel, assets, and information. Collaborates with various departments to ensure a comprehensive and proactive approach to security, including physical security, information security, emergency response, and incident management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Lead the design, implementation, management, and maturity of the security infrastructure, including tools, and services for logging, detection, and incident response.

· Detect and drive remediation of vulnerabilities across network, endpoint, and server environments.

· Partner with technology teams to ensure proper configuration and management of threat prevention systems including authentication and authorization, PKI, firewall, endpoint protection, content filtering and CASB.

· Manage the incident response program, coordinating response actions with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

· Develop a company threat profile using the latest available techniques, monitor for changes, and develop countermeasures for protection against those threats.

· Provide technical subject-matter expertise to IT and business project teams to ensure LendingPoint infrastructure, tools, and services are maintained with appropriate threat protection and availability.

· Coordinate internal threat hunting program and red team exercises.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on audit and compliance activities.

· Develop threat detection using available internal external tools; integrate custom detections into incident response process.

· Develop metrics and reporting to show maturity and track status.

· Monitor the effectiveness of security systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.

· Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures through training and enforcement.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent knowledge and experience, preferred.

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, required.

· 10+ years of relevant experience in technology, development, or IT operations.

· 5+ years of relevant experience in security operations.

· 3+ years of experience in security leadership.

· Proven experience with various information security frameworks, including NIST, CIS Top 20, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP Top Ten.

· Expertise in SaaS application operations and identity management.

· Experience with operational standards, controls, and regulations like ITGC, ITIL, SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and sit for a minimum of 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and/or tools. The employee is required to talk or hear with or without reasonable accommodation and must sometimes lift and move up to 10 pounds.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting.


This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
