You Are
You’ve got the skills to interface with clients and help them with their log monitoring and collection needs. You possess a strong understanding of networking, traffic analysis and can troubleshoot networking issues. You have experience working with a SIEM or configuring technologies for log collection and you know the value of of the security infrastructure in an enterprise. Day-to-day, you’re all about solving security problems for clients and using your people skills to make sure everyone on your team is working well and happily.
Role Responsibilities
The Security Engineer’s in Accenture’s Managed Extended Detection & Response service is responsible for the following:
  • Act as Tier 1, Tier 2, & Tier 3 level response, providing technical customer support with various security technologies and Log Collection Platforms for our global customer base.
  • Assessing and triaging client requests via the phone, email or the MxDR client portal (service cases and live chat).
  • Developing technical and procedural knowledge of all MxDR services.
  • Responding to technical security questions and concerns from customers.
  • Performing troubleshooting of various technologies.
  • Providing guidance and articulating technical security expertise to customers
  • Documenting best practices and writing knowledgebase articles.
  • Executing assigned projects.
  • Adhering to established internal procedures and guidelines.
  • This position may be assigned to a rotating shift schedule between 7am -9pm EST weekdays
    Here's What You Need
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Linux fundamentals.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer networking fundamentals, including a detailed understanding of TCP/IP and other core Internet protocols
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with operating system platforms; knowledge of routers, network protocols, scripting
  • Minimum of one or more of the following certifications or like certifications: Security+, CCNA, Network+, Linux+, AWS Certified Cloud Practictioner, AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
  • Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
