Security Guard- Night Rover

Excelsior Defense is now accepting Unarmed Security Guards for our Overnight Roving position located in Bradenton, Florida! This post is from 9:00PM to 5:00AM, to patrol, monitor, and report activity in several locations within all three (3) CRA areas. Patrol areas will consist of parks, garages, businesses, parking lots, and other facilities located within each CRA location. Responsibilities: All personnel performing security guard duties shall have and maintain an up-to-date certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid, as provided by a recognized group, such as the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association. Knowledge of City of Bradenton Ordinances, rules, and regulations as they pertain to park closures and overnight garage access. Ensure safety is maintained in our public facilities and laws are abided by all spectator and community members during events. Ability to communicate with emergency dispatch for Police and/or Fire public safety response, when needed. Ability to communicate with individuals who occupy a patrolled area that otherwise should not be at said location. Intervene when minimal action to safeguard persons or property is appropriate or when directed by a public safety responder. Requirements: Must have held an active Class D Security Guards license in the State of Florida for 3 or more years. Must have a clean driving & criminal record.
