Guest Services, Inc. is looking for part-time or full-time experienced Security Guards at a beautiful luxury high rise community in Naples, FL. Candidates will work the third shift only, with a combination of working week nights and weekends.

Pay Range: $17.00-19.00/hour.
St Raphael is located between the Gulf of Mexico and Venetian Bay in Park Shore.

JOB SUMMARY

The Security Guard monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Call police or fire department in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
• Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
• Ability to stand for the entire work day.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
• Climbing steps regularly.
• Withstanding temperature extremes and inclement outdoor weather.
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
• Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
• Ability to visually inspect traffic/vehicles.
