We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for non-emergency, and sometimes emergency calls. You will receive complaints, transmit messages and watch cameras throughout the night.

The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.

The goal is to enable different parties to respond safely to possible dangerous locations by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cameras throughout the night for suspicious activity
• Dispatch security officers to complaints and/or camera activity
• Enter reports into our reporting system
• Receive calls and record information

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English in order to fulfill the duties of the position. A basic understanding of spelling, grammar, and written professional communications are required for reporting to clients and interacting with an assigned Team.
• Must have open availability and be available for last minute shifts
• Sound judgment and critical thinking
• Outstanding multitasking and organization skills
• Must have a computer that you are willing to use when needed.
• Must be friendly and have great customer service skills
• The work area must be large enough to accommodate a computer and multiple screens.
• Must be able to type at least 40 WPM
• Must be tech-savvy
• Applicants must currently have an internet connection and a quiet place to workout of.
• The ideal candidate is a Disabled Veteran or spouse that would benefit from the ability to work from home in a rewarding career helping others while being a part of an amazing group of team members.
• Applicants must be able to sit for up to 8 hours. Reasonable accommodations may be made as long as the duties of the position can be accomplished.
• Great attention to detail
• All shifts are overnight/graveyard shift.
• Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident Alien able to work in the United States.

The starting pay for this position is 21.75 an hour and approximately 25 hours per week. You will be working at your own home and sometimes required to attend meetings virtually. You will need a quiet place to take calls and talk on comms all night without disturbing anyone. This is a graveyard, part-time position with potential for full time.
