The Security Analyst I, under general direction, performs routine information technology (IT) analysis functions. Position is located in Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate. Hybrid work options available after successful completion of training period; expectation of two in-office days.

Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

5% - New security technologies

5% - Documentation specialist

40% - Vulnerability management and remediation

20% - Liaison between the Security Team other ITS teams as well as campus

10% - Security website and social media content management

10% - Assist with Risk Assessments

10% - Work with other Security Team members on projects

Minimum Requirements

Education –Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Two years of related experience.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting, client relations, and the Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL).

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Supervision of Others

This position generally does not supervise employees.

The target base annual salary is $44,212.00 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
