Security Analyst Jobs

SystemSoft Technologies is seeking a Security Specialist or Security Admin for a long term contract with our client in Arlington, TX. This position will work on the operations side and manage day to day security related tasks.

**This is an onsite role and you must be currently in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and able to commute to Arlington, TX daily**

• First line support for all cyber security related incidents
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats, and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action
• Conduct system audits to identify security-based vulnerabilities within the environment
• Document and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards, which align with business goals and objectives across city departments.
• Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes and improvements
• Understand and interact with various departments to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services, including, but not limited to, privacy, risk management, compliance and business continuity management
• Keep technical knowledge current through continuing education
• Organize and conduct vulnerability scans within the environment.Review and create remediation plan as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity; or 5+ years of Information Security / Cybersecurity work experience
