Job Description
Position: Usher, Ticket Scanner
Reports to: Community Relations & Guest Services Manager
Position Overview: This is a part-time/seasonal game day position with the Hudson Valley Renegades, High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. This position will include Ushers and/or Ticket Scanners.
Ushers are responsible for developing a friendly relationship with the fans that enter Dutchess Stadium. Ushers must familiarize themselves with all customer service operations so they may guide our fans to their particular need.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and acknowledge all fans that enter Dutchess Stadium.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Scan tickets for guests before allowing entry into the stadium.
  • Assist in keeping the stadium a clean and safe environment, and work with management staff to resolve any situation which requires attention.
  • Must ensure fan compliance with Dutchess Stadium and MLB policies/procedures.
  • Answers guests’ questions and assists them whenever possible.
  • Assist fans with locating their respective seat location and answer any questions about the stadium and team.
  • Check all bags and purses at entry points for prohibited items, as well as wand each guest entering the stadium.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme hot, cold, and rain.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule for the duration of the season, from April to September, to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
