Seasonal Bartender Jobs

What you'll do

• Mix drinks, cocktails, and bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards and pour requirements.
• Properly handle an assigned house bank and follow all established cashiering procedures. Maintain house bank at proper amount accounting for all cash or charge discrepancies.
• Perform all necessary cleaning assignments.
• Participate in physical inventories
• Set the assigned area in preparation for an on time opening and ensure that it is fully equipped with tools and products needed to prepare required beverages.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures and checklists.
• Ensure that all food and beverage served are accounted for in the point of sale system.
• Properly fill orders placed by restaurant personnel as well as guests, doing so in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Other responsibilities as assigned including server - because every day looks different
• Ensure that the bar and all its equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by suggestion selling of menu items, proper timely service and follow-up.

The skills you'll need

• Serv safe certification and TIPS certification a plus
• Minimum 6-12 months recent bartending experience preferred, preferably in a high volume operation.
• High school or equivalent required

Work environment and physical demands

• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time

• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
