What we're looking for
The Bartender will be responsible for providing excellent guest service as it pertains to the food and beverage outlets of resort. This person will promptly address guest service needs, complete beverage orders and request, clean and stock all areas based on inventory control. This person will also maintain the company's expected high quality standards and will follow all safety protocols as dictated by company policy.
The Bartender position will be available to serve guests food and beverage.
Compensation
- $750 SIGN ON BONUS! Paid in two segments - $375 paid after 30 days of employment. $375 paid after 90 days of employment.

What you'll do
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards and pour requirements.
- Properly handle an assigned house bank and follow all established cashiering procedures. Maintain house bank at proper amount accounting for all cash or charge discrepancies.
- Perform all necessary cleaning assignments.
- Participate in physical inventories
- Set the assigned area in preparation for an on time opening and ensure that it is fully equipped with tools and products needed to prepare required beverages.
- Follow all opening and closing procedures and checklists.
- Ensure that all food and beverage served are accounted for in the point of sale system.
- Properly fill orders placed by restaurant personnel as well as guests, doing so in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
- Other responsibilities as assigned including server - because every day looks different
- Ensure that the bar and all its equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by suggestion selling of menu items, proper timely service and follow-up.
The skills you'll need
- Serv safe certification and TIPS certification a plus
- Minimum 6-12 months recent bartending experience preferred, preferably in a high volume operation.
- High school or equivalent required
Work environment and physical demands
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- The physical demands described here are an example of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
