Job Summary

Under the "Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion", the Seasonal Assistant, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion shall support and have an active role in executing the DEI strategic plan for the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, working with our IDEAL Team (comprised of cross functional team members), DEI Team, TMRGs, Sr. Leaders and key community partners.

• This is a temporary position from September 2023 - June 2024 paying $15.00/HR. This position requires working onsite at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance to the DE&I Team as needed.
• Assist with the execution of the team’s community programs and outreach events.
• Liaison between Social Impact & Equity Team, Team Member Resource Groups and IDEAL Team.
• Working with the Social Impact & Equity Team to create, execute and monitor DEI themed activations.
• Support DE&I Manager with managing the DEI scorecard.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and (potentially) Holidays.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or currently pursuing a BS Degree) from an accredited university required.
• Possesses a positive attitude.
