Job Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional phone support to patients, physician offices, and other hospital departments
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine patient financial responsibility
• Test and schedule appointments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to scheduling protocols
• Initiate the billing process for hospital services
• Handle complex scheduled events and studies with specific instructions

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 1-2 years of recent scheduling experience preferred
• Knowledge of up-front collections, insurance verification, or pre-registration is a plus

Additional Information

• On-site presence may be required for team meetings, trainings, etc.
• This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week, primarily during day shifts
