About The Role
Our Scheduling Coordinators are the heart and soul of Acorn Dentistry for Kids. They work in a tight-knit team at our Clinic Support Office in Silverton to take all incoming calls for our clinics and make sure our patients are scheduled in a timely manner. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for introducing new patients and their families to Acorn, going over the appointment process and what they can expect, taking all patient information, and working closely with our administrative team and transferring calls if need be. We are looking for team members who are detail oriented, consistent, and able to be flexible with the ever-changing needs of our clinics.
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting our clinics and helping ensure their schedules are full and well organized
  • Receiving incoming calls from our marketing efforts
  • Verifying OHP insurance and collecting private insurance information
  • Building relationships through personal connections with our families
  • Scheduling appointments over the phone
  • Having excellent written communication skills
  • Utilizing dental software; Must have proficiency in computer skills
Qualifications:
  • Warm and engaging phone personality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bilingual candidates highly encouraged to apply
  • Front desk/call center experience a plus
  • Must be proficient with computers, good typing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft programs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
