Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our team at the Duval County Jail in Jacksonville, FL
Responsibilities

• Assists health care providers, registered nurses and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, special tests and routine procedures.
• Obtains patient health history, laboratory specimens,vitalsigns and administers TB skin tests.
• Reviews patient chart; records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient’s conditions.
• Schedules and coordinates paperwork for patient transfers to medical facilities or outside health care providers; administers medications; implement health carepractitioner’sorders and documents all patient contacts using the POMR format.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a managed care environment preferred
• Current state Certificate as a Medical Assistant
• Current CPR certificate
