JOB DESCRIPTION

This Supply Chain & ERP applications Software Engineer role facilitates the development, implementation, and sustainment of SAP ERP systems and processes, as a member of the LMP2P sustainment team. Working closely with an integrated team of end users, business analysts, and software engineers, duties will include software integration, test plan and procedures development, investigation into issues, and the ability to analyze and resolve complex mission problems quickly and independently. This is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment requiring the ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities from the business area customers.The core responsibilities are based on a broad knowledge of IT and include, but are not limited to the following:

Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities

Design, develop, document and test software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems

Debug software to remediate system issues

Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle

Apply knowledge of subject matter to be programmed in business applications through information processing techniques and information gathered from system users

Manage & escalate risks with regard to application development to meet business requirementsRequired Experience

* 10+ years of IT development experience with focus on SAP experience

* Experience with SAP ABAP/4 and Web Dynpro applications Programming, Workflow,and Idocs

* UI5, OData, FIORI development experience

* JavaScript, HTML CSS development experience is a plus

* Perform maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP components and those that interface with other applications.

* Knowledge on UI/UX Development (SAP FIORI) is a plus

* In-depth knowledge of SRM, ECC, FI, MM and SUS preferred

* Working knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and Agile Project Delivery

* Experience with LMP2P preferred

* Experience with supply chain processes related to Aerospace and Defense industries

* Extensive experience with IT delivery

* Experience working with large, virtual teams
