Job Description
Lifeway is seeking a Salesforce Administrator that has a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its features to determine the best approach to effectively support sales, service and marketing objectives. This role will take a proactive approach in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform by participating in all aspects of the development process through gathering requirements and feedback, prioritizing and planning with the team, designing scalable best practice solutions, implementing methods of monitoring success, and leading the hand-off to department leaders.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain data backup and recovery tools.
  • Contribute with Customer Insights engineers to design and execute architectural changes that support both internal (platform only) and enterprise (integration) initiatives. This includes (but is not limited to) objects, record types, fields, validation rules, and triggers.
  • Resolve user support tickets.
  • Participate in DevOps Center and sandbox management practices to maintain a consistent, reliable deployment pipeline.
  • Maintain Salesforce configurations including (but not limited to): flows, assignment rules, approval processes, page layouts, lightning record pages, search layouts, compact layouts, actions, files, mobile administration, and list views.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and feedback sessions and translate findings into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experiences.
  • Proactively monitor release updates, security reviews, health checks and optimizations to identify new opportunities, necessary adjustments, and potential improvements.
  • Attend and contribute to regular sprint ceremonies including standups, backlog grooming, kickoffs, and retros.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with IT Operations and Security teams on user setup/deactivation by managing single-sign-on integrations, profiles, permission sets and groups, roles, public groups, queues, OWD and sharing rules.
  • Contribute to platform roadmap planning and prioritization with Technical Product Manager and Software Development Manager.
  • Manage integrated applications and third-party suppliers including (but not limited to) Marketing Cloud, Outlook, Inbox and Inbox Mobile, Intercom, Attentive, etc.
  • Oversee the administration of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms.
  • Support the communication of any platform changes (both custom and Salesforce introduced) to trainers, end users and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Inquisitive self-starter and team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of triggers and APEX preferred
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Administrations hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or other certifications a plus
