Salesforce Specialist – Sales Cloud

As a Salesforce Specialist, you will lead our Salesforce customization and implementation efforts. You will collaborate with our team to maximize our ability to leverage Salesforce’s capabilities and empower the team to achieve business goals through effective use of the platform. The specialist should be able to translate business needs into a design, develop the necessary customization and/or configuration, and maintain Salesforce solutions, ensuring seamless end user experience and efficient data management.

By partnering with the client’s financial advisor, we not only provide support and guidance but also deliver a gateway to premium financing through exclusive industry relationships and venerable insight. In doing so, we go the extra mile by tailoring our strategy around a holistic picture to elevate the performance of life insurance assets. Our team consists of (#) financial advisors and (#) operations support. We are in Long Island City and work remote with some in office time as business needs dictate.

The Ideal Candidate

• Will be obsessive about the details and quality control and have a passion for Salesforce and its ability to support and grow a business.
• As the Salesforce expert, on a small team, will be required to be resourceful, relying upon own knowledge of how to effectively set up, implement and train a team on maximizing salesforce capabilities.
• Will be available to the Madan + Team, on an hourly basis, as needed for iterative adjustments/troubleshooting, post contract completion, is desired.
• Will work independently to configure the back end and front end of salesforce to meet the needs of our small financial advisory team.

• Workflows built and processes defined for the unique needs of the business.
• All existing data entered in salesforce and other systems migrated as appropriate.
• An enjoyable, smooth and drama free experience for the Madan + Team & Clients.
• Salesforce set up and customized to the specific needs of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Create data reports and dashboards to provide insights into key team metrics and performance indicators-train end users to maintain going forward.
• Ability to use APEX Triggers when base salesforce functionality is unable to support the requirement
• Collaborate with end users, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features to leverage the latest capabilities in our solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enhance code quality and maintainability where possible.
• Design and implement custom objects, workflows, and validation rules to optimize Salesforce functionality.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and bug fixes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in team meetings to provide technical expertise and contribute to solution discussions.
• Develop and maintain Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations with other systems.
• Ability to write Test Classes in an efficient manner to expedite moving the change set to production
• Customize Salesforce front-end and back-end solutions based on business requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I and II, App Builder, Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator) are highly desired.
• Proven experience on salesforce projects, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration, data modeling, and security concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
