Job Description

SUMMARY

Briogeo is looking for a Planning Coordinator to support the sales and planning teams. This role is an integral part of the brand’s key strategic pillars of winning in retail, leveraging operational efficiencies, and re-igniting our core franchises.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently with data while being flexible and juggling various projects that change in real-time. Attention to detail and the ability to both see the big picture and execute day-to-day activations is a must. This role will need to cross-collaborate professionally and in a timely manner with internal stakeholders and external retail partners to drive business results.


ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with monthly and quarterly impact performance reports + competitive updates to ensure goals, measure KPIs, provide actionable insights and modify programs accordingly.
  • Overall departmental support with file and information management
  • Timely purchase order placement from retailers to ensure correct order quantities and on-time launches.
  • Track retailer sampling strategies
  • Partner with Account Managers to manage gratis/comps/sampling strategies and send outs.
  • Ensure data integrity of our BI reporting (Tableau) and other ad hoc analyses (sales trends, hindsight review, etc.)
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to boost sales.
  • Collaborate appropriately on seasonal planning, support, events and special partnership to ensure maximized exposure and impact.
  • Track retailer stock positions to mitigate out of stock especially for core replenishment items.
  • Interface and partner closely with DTC for alignment on upcoming promotions
  • Support Sr Planner with data input and SKU maintenance (visual merchandising updates, pricing, master database, etc.)
  • Liaise with Ops team to communicate latest discontinuations and SKU plans.
  • Partner cross-departmentally to maximize efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong understanding and interest in current and upcoming beauty market trends and the cultural landscape, with the ability and desire to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with the Briogeo brand—a pulse on what is happening in the industry, digital space and beyond.
  • Naturally curious and a process optimizer — ability to brainstorm new ways to improve efficiencies.
  • Strong ability to understand and execute independently while working in diverse, flexible environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills
  • Must have outstanding computer skills proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google suite.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and experience in managing and growing brands
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balance competing priorities.
  • Preferred 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A doer and willingness to get into the weeds and also step back and challenge status quo.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Briogeo / Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $55,000 - $64,5000 salary per year. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Briogeo / Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life, and disability.
