Summary


The Carhartt Company Gear (CCG) Operations Manager is a highly visible role that is responsible for defining, implementing and managing best-in-class resources, policies, and processes that improve efficiency and productivity for the CCG business from sales to delivery. This includes an emphasis on evolving existing operating procedures throughout the company to better support the CCG business model. This is a highly collaborative role that is responsible for ensuring alignment of all cross-functional resources in a highly matrix organization.

Responsibilities


  • Manage multiple projects of moderate size concurrently.
  • Oversees projects that enable the sales organization in achieving profitable growth and efficient operations.
  • Manages an operating cadence of meetings and events to ensure the organization is aligned and running effectively and efficiently to meet goals and objectives. This includes facilitating weekly operations meeting and weekly sales meetings.
  • Leads the alignment of cross -functional partners in delivering the CCG service model from ideation to delivery.
  • Facilitates commission goals in collaboration with Planning, Finance, and Sales Leadership
  • Leads functional and cross functional communications in collaboration with Sales Leaders and the Operations teams.
  • Collaborates with the Sr Director of Channel Operations, Planning & Analytics on CCG Sales strategy, including distribution, organization, territory design and compensation objectives, and coordinates the execution of these strategies by the Sales Operations team.
  • Broad understanding of Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics operations to help streamline workflows and eliminate roadblocks
  • Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to our sales and business leaders and cross functional business partners to help shape our CCG strategy and achieve our defined corporate goals
  • Manages the execution of the CCG Go-To market calendar
  • Performs other duties as required.


Education


  • Bachelor's Degree Required in Business or Related Field


Required Skills And Experience


  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills with all levels in the organization
  • Client relationship experience preferred
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocations
  • 5+ years of operations management or project leadership required
  • Ability to organize complex objectives into individual related tasks and measurable deliverables
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Visio, Word
  • Responsible for controlling and implementing projects and delivering expected value
  • Experience managing one or more medium to large projects of complex dependencies and risks
  • Experience in managing project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule
  • Highly skilled in identifying and resolving root cause issues
  • Highly skilled in identifying task structures, relationships and dependencies

  • Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
