Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Process improvements: Conducts evaluations, suggests designs and spearheads development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
  • Lean Six sigma understanding: Implement lean processes, conduct time studies, identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enthusiastically support and contribute to manufacturing processes and tools.
  • Mitigate waste: maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Review, develop, write and edit process plans and standard work.


Required:

  • Some experience manufacturing environments.
  • Willing to work in third shift 10 pm - 6 30 AM
  • US citizenship is a must due to nature of the job
  • Experience in a LEAN environment and a familiarity with the methodology would be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering



Other Preferred qualification are:

  • Experience with Autocad or Solid Works
  • SAP
  • Advanced Excel
