Job Summary
Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) delivers proven technologies for global video, media, communications, data applications, and cybersecurity & compliance. We help companies that need flexibility at scale – from content and technology companies to advertisers, pay-TV operators, financial service providers, retailers, and beyond. The Streaming, Broadcasting, & Advertising (SB&A) Sales Operations team is responsible for the support of sales opportunities from the initial creation stage through contract execution and archiving. The team is also responsible for coordinating presales activities like technical deal reviews and Deal Desk. We are the center of the web between sales, product, ops, engineering, legal and finance and help to ensure organizational alignment on new deals and projects for customers. This Analyst will play an essential role in supporting SB&A Sales as well as contract validation and execution for the rest of CTS. The Sales Ops team has a high-level of visibility within CTS and is a trusted partner across business teams. This role is primarily remote/virtual, with meetings in Centennial, CO 2-5 times per month.

Responsible for a maintaining and running various sales operations processes involving business reengineering efforts that support our operations and customer experience. Works with a cross-functional team that encompasses representation from all divisions to understand current challenges. Works to define our current processes that support the Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations teams and to define the future state that will be enabled through technology. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills to effectively support customer-focused teams from original opportunity through contract execution. Priorities will be determined by business-cycles and customer contract validation requests.
We're looking for someone with 2-5 years' experience as an analyst in a corporate setting. A sales support or financial background would be a plus, as would experience with Salesforce or Adaptive Insights.
Core Responsibilities
  • Helps to define success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics.
  • Supports development and execution of cyclical and asynchronous presentations for the Sales organization.
  • Develops repeatable and thus scalable, plans and processes to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develops scalable processes to support and benefit CTS’s Salesforce environment to enable the Sales organization to accurately track and execute customer business opportunities. Experience with Salesforce and/or Adaptive Insights a plus.
  • Deconstructs technical concepts and metrics to facilitate process development.
  • Interacts closely with matrixed cross-functional teams (Legal, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product) to secure alignment on proposed deals.
  • Diagnoses, corrects, and documents issues, risks, and problems.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Completes assessments of business processes and documents solutions and steps for proper execution.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to validate new contracts and ensure accurate tracking/archiving takes place. This involves working closely with Sales and Legal to make sure the contracts that go out to customers are complete and that the organization is aligned on the entire contract.
  • Works with the team on analysis and design of existing and new business processes that support the Sales Operations function.

Additional Range: This job can be performed in Colorado, with a Pay Range of $59,743.98 USD - $89,615.97 USD
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
