The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and account management, with a proven track record of success in sales development. This person will be responsible for everything from developing a sales process and building a client database to maintaining client relationships and the negotiation/close of new business.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop revenue-generating opportunities with new and existing customers. Maintain relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through online research, subscribed databases, social media sources, events, referrals, in-bound leads, cold-calls and follow-up calls.
- Acquire research and further contact information where needed to develop a profile of companies.
- Schedule and conduct online meetings for prospects in a clear and compelling way with a high level of passion for our solutions.
-Achieve quarterly targets such as number of eCommerce businesses identified, leads generated, qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/ tasks, call quality, appointment setting, and sales skills.
-Support the company's marketing efforts by following up on any inbound leads from the website, maintain social media accounts, respond to inquiries on a timely basis and attend events as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the Supply Chain Industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet functions.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Energy and desire to make numerous phone calls daily.
