Job Summary:
Works as a team member to support administration, medical and clinical staff in meeting quality improvement and patient safety needs within the organization. Reviews and audits processes for compliance to policy and regulatory requirements throughout ambulatory clinic areas. Performs data collection, analysis and prepares results for presentation to appropriate groups. Conducts utilization and process reviews as needed. Must utilize critical thinking skills in evaluating process reviews. Prepares meaningful summaries with which to educate providers and staff.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Position requires RN degree from accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of three years’ experience. Completion of the Healthcare Quality Academy Certificate Program within two (2) years of employment.
Preferred: Detail oriented. Computer experience, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Extensive clinical background. QI audit and/or Utilization Review experience is strongly preferred.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: Current Alabama RN License
