Quality Improvement Rn-Lake West Medical Center

Position Summary/Essential Duties:

1. Responsible for monitoring and reporting clinical outcomes

2. Leads various process improvement initiatives, including participation on any System-wide quality initiatives

3. Conducts chart reviews, data abstraction, utilization review and data analysis activities

4. Works with clinical staff to determine effective tools to monitor clinical quality and recommends system or process enhancements that support better quality tracking &/or outcomes

5. Keeps abreast of trends in quality research and recommends changes to enhance hospital processes &/or outcomes

This Quality Improvement RN position is located at UH Lake West Medical Center and is full-time, 40 hours per week on day shift.

Experience & Knowledge:

Three years clinical experience required

CPHQ certification preferred

Education:

Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Credentials, License, and / or Certifications:

Registered Nurse with Ohio licensure

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.

Demonstrated critical thinking and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for change
