Rn - Registered Nurse

TEEMA Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a rewarding long-term contract opportunity at a reputable corrections facility in San Luis Obispo, California. This position offers an excellent pay rate of $75.00/hr (for local nurses). Traveler packages available as well!

Requirements

• Passion for serving the underserved population.
• BLS with AHA
• Valid California nurse license.

Responsibilities

As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and promoting the well-being of patients within the corrections facility.

Key Responsibilities Include

Nursing Care Provision:

• Contributing valuable insights as a nursing professional to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Recording all nursing activities meticulously in medical records, including initial nursing assessments, treatment interventions, and patient education provided.
• Conducting ongoing patient assessments and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on their physical and psychological status.
• Following physician orders and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Collaborative Treatment Efforts:
• Assisting physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participating actively in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment regimens, documenting progress, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Patient Assessment and Evaluation:
• Implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, and disease prevention measures.

Schedule

This is a full-time position offering a 40-hour work week, distributed across 5 days.

Current openings are day shift: Friday- Tuesday

Compensation And Benefits

• Pay rate: $75/hr (a portion of this amount can be paid in a stipend if the provider qualifies).
• Weekly pay cycle.
