Job Description

Pay Range: $ 48.32/hr - $ 59.43/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in the home setting in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The RN admits new patients with a variety of illnesses/conditions, accurately captures information and enters it into the medical record and institutes first treatments, care plans and referrals. The RN also provides on call services for Hospice as required by the Joint Commission and CMS. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
  • One year nursing experience (LVN experience acceptable)

Desired:
  • Recent hospice RN experience
  • One year of acute nursing experience

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
  • Current CPR recognition
  • Proof of current auto insurance coverage (no business exclusion)
  • Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)
  • Current California Driver’s License
  • Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
