Risk Operations Analyst (Payments)

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The commerce suite includes products we sell online (Woo Commerce Store, Online Store), on Marketplaces, via Social, in-person at their brick-and-mortar store, over the phone, and more.

As part of the Commerce team, the GoDaddy Payments Risk organization helps ensure a healthy and compliant merchant portfolio. We work hard to protect the commerce platform while providing our merchants with a world-class experience with minimal friction. The ideal Risk Operations Analyst candidate possesses the ability to navigate ambiguity with ease and strong decision-making skills.

This position will involve weekend and holiday coverage in the PT time zone.

What You'll Get To Do...

• Provide feedback and solutions to help improve our risk workflows and to support our merchants with a seamless world-class experience
• Maintain production and quality operational targets
• Work in a fast-paced queue environment to review high-risk transaction and account activity • Mitigate risk and fraud exposure through detailed merchant investigations by collecting and analyzing business/account information and documentation
• Identify and flag developing fraud and risk trends

Your Experience Should Include...

• Demonstrate a customer-focused mentality
• Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across the company
• Strong willingness to learn and expand fraud and risk knowledge
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment
• Possess a strong willingness to learn and take proactive measures to mitigate foreseeable issues and barriers
• Ability to take initiative with minimal direction
• 3+ years working in the fraud or risk industry
• 3+ years working in a queue-based environment or support environment
