Revit Designer For Buildings

Established small business with great clients and interesting, enjoyable projects. Primary markets include various federal government buildings (new construction and renovations) plus fire training centers around the country, where firefighters learn how to be firefighters.

We enjoy each other's company and work independently within a team setting. Collaboration is important, as are communication skills and the desire to learn and improve. This position could start as, or grow into, a role of creating comprehensive design solutions, not just drawing what the engineer sketches.

Responsibilities and long-term growth objectives:

• Establish and maintain Revit drafting standards.
• Maintain and improve typical detail library.
• Lay out and detail entire structures.
• Prepare complete drawing packages (construction drawings), with support from the project engineer.
• Provide ideas to solve design problems.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency required in Revit for modeling building structures and preparing detailed construction drawings.
• Any experience level will be considered.
• Preference for at least three years of architectural and/or structural Revit design for buildings.

• We work remotely and have permanent office space for meeting and collaborating.
