Retail Operations Summer Internship 2023

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:

L’Occitane is seeking a current student pursuing a major in a business or related field to join us as an intern. The intern will gain general knowledge in various aspects of retail operations through hands-on experience and being responsible of select projects. The ideal candidate must be able to commit up to 28 hours/week.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project 2: Assist in the organization of the annual Customer Experience Conference (known as CXC) – a virtual meeting engaging our store managers to get them ready for the most exciting season of the year: Holiday.
• All other duties or projects as assigned
• Project 3: Assist the retail operations teams in various projects to help the store teams deliver a memorable customer experience.
• Project 1: Participate in our New Store Referential Platform Project change with collecting, updating and maintaining data related to our boutiques in North America.

This is a 3-month internship, with extension preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Experience

0-1 Years’ experience in retail setting preferred.

Skills

• Ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a must.
• Possess a high level of integrity – must show good judgment and confidentiality at all times.
• Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills needed.
• Interest in Beauty Fashion/Retail/Sales is a plus.
• Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.

Physical & Travel Requirements

• Must be available to work up to 28 hours per week
• Must be able work in normal office conditions
