Job Description

Job Summary/Purposes

The Merchandising Coordinator will support the Senior Director of Merchandising and Merchandising Manager in the daily buying activities such as selecting the products for base orders and restocking according to the product category and the shops in his/her market and in line with the selection of the Master Order. The Merchandising Coordinator will also assist in analyzing the particularities of the market in terms of sales, trends, and characteristics of the clientele to acquire an extensive understanding of the market and remain constantly up to date.


Responsibilities


  • Create support materials for special package PowerPoints
  • Assist in the replenishment for the shops in US market, following the guidelines issued by the Headquarters;
  • Assist in scheduling visual visits at department stores when required
  • Organize necessary communications in regard to seasonal price changes, style cancellations, sizing/style number changes, late styles, etc.
  • Support in gathering extensive competitive and market research to analyze regional trends, competitive and pricing analysis
  • Analyze the daily sales performance by product category, by article, by the store to prepare the necessary reports, on a regular basis;
  • Assist in generating competitive analysis and trend reports
  • Support in preparing the necessary analysis and documentation of the Master Order;
  • Make specific analysis required by the Director of Retail and Wholesale Merchandising;
  • Assist during the after-market order process- running assortment analysis per customer, generating buy layouts, working closely with order management for any/all discrepancies, order logs
  • Provide support to the Retail Merchandising team in the preparation of orders for the US market- unit entry, sizing scale, by store allocation
  • Handle seasonal restocking of products for the shops in US market
  • Monitor the performance of sales in the shops in USA market to ensure the correct mix of products in the shop.
  • Update and analyze wholesale selling reports- weekly flash and by location analysis for planning dept. on a weekly basis
  • Make transfers of products between stores or markets, based on the monitoring of stocks in the stores and the indications provided by the Senior Director of Retail and Wholesale Merchandising, or requests from stores


Knowledge and Skills


  • Experience in the Luxury industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint
  • Attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience in Merchandising
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and prioritizing capabilities


The annual salary range for this position may vary from $60,000-$75,000, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
