Description & Requirements
- Utilizing scheduling tools to forecast hours, track/manage utilization, and monitor overall headcount, chargeable hours, and overtime to ensure work is distributed
- Supporting data analytics and reporting needs for the broader team
- Actively participate with our highly collaborative team who challenges themselves to undergo constant process improvement to deliver on the needs of our clients
- Demonstrate agility in managing multiple work streams in an evolving environment while working effectively and efficiently
- Collaborating with engagement teams to maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
- Own and manage various follow-ups/communications around scheduling accuracy, skills in database management, etc.
- Utilize the scheduling software to help Resource Managers maintain accurate scheduling for client-facing personnel
- Partner with the resource management team to help support the RM process, including:
- Scheduling of talent to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements
- Managing open needs by identifying solutions as well as anticipating potential conflicts and proactively managing them by generating ideas and surfacing alternative solutions
- Participate in special projects as needed
- Provide Resource Managers with relevant information to support the resource management process
- Building strong relationships with client serving personnel at all levels as well as collaborating closely with other Internal Firm Services teams (e.g., Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Operations)
- Maintaining a solid understanding of the skills, experiences, and career goals of professional staff to ensure optimal client assignments alignments; ensuring skills and interest profiles are updated regularly as required
- Willingness to thrive in an ever-evolving work environment
- Ability to foresee potential issues and manage unexpected situations while maintaining a positive attitude
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with internal clients, management, and support teams including HR, IT, Learning, Recruiting, and others
- Ability to be reliable and meet deadlines and deliver quick turnaround as needed
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including data management and manipulation capabilities
- Ability to work effectively across multiple offices and with virtual teammates and build strong relationships remotely
- Ability to influence outcomes and build consensus to support our "One Firm" focus
- Willingness to be a team player that will pitch in when and where they are needed and can be flexible with his/her schedule
- Ability to work more than 40 hours a week, as needed
- Result-oriented mindset with the ability to be decisive and impartial
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to balances competing priorities, requests and needs of various stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office application, exceptional excel skills
- 2+ years of relevant work experience within professional services preferred (resource management or external client facing)
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or university required.
