Job Description

Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Research Data Scientist and be part of revolutionizing how companies connect with their customers!


We are a well-funded MIT spinout currently seeking a talented and driven individual to help shape our patented Machine Learning Routing platform. As a Research Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art optimization and AI-based prediction research to build data science tools that will enhance our platform and enable us to scale on a global level.


Our startup is located in Somerville and offers a hybrid working environment, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building data science tools to support routing and planning recommendations based on historical data
  • Developing and implementing algorithms and models to analyze data and generate insights
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and test new features and functionalities for our platform


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning and data analysis tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar
