Job Description

Position Purpose
The Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) at Dartmouth College is seeking a Research Coordinator (RC) to join a newly-funded study exploring the retention, duration, and discontinuation of medication treatment for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in patients receiving care in Lebanon, NH. The study is focused on testing strategies to 1) improve retention in MOUD and 2) explore successful discontinuation of MOUD.
The RC will be a key member of the study team and will have the unique opportunity to provide direct support to the local investigative team at both Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock, communicate with the national study leadership, and collaborate with partners at other participating sites around the country. The RC will also oversee the day-to-day work of the study Research Assistants (RAs) and have direct contact with patients. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively about study-related matters with a wide variety of individuals, maintain confidentiality with regard to patient information and study data, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent organizational and management skills.
The project is managed by the Northeast Node of the Clinical Trials Network (CTN), spanning the rural communities of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The CTN provides a unique research infrastructure for conducting practical, rigorous, and highly impactful trials focused on improving the treatment of substance use disorders (SUDs) and promoting widespread implementation and sustainability of effective and accessible SUD care in community systems across the nation. The Northeast Node is based out of the CTBH at Dartmouth College. The RC will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and under the overall supervision of the CTBH and Northeast Node Director, Dr. Lisa Marsch.
Note: Continuing employment is based on the availability of grant funds.
