Research Associate Jobs

A Temporary Research Associate is sought to work with the UI Libraries Digital Scholarship & Publishing Studio in the Flint Email Lab on a temporary basis. The position will work with the project Principal Investigator (PI), team members, and project consultants to perform research on the project.

The Research Associate will work 100 hours in year one, 100 hours in year two, and 25 hours in year three, at an hourly rate of $30/hr.

Responsibilities will include collaboration with other project team members; archival and academic research and writing; and dissemination of results through publications and workshop presentations.

Graduate students in related areas of humanities or social science are preferred; familiarity/background with relevant research topics also preferred, including water governance, racial politics, research methods including focus groups, research ethics, digital humanities, and/or website design.

The position will run from June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2025. This is a part-time position; work hours to be set in consultation with the project PI. Salary rate will be $30/hour.
