The Research and Development intern role is responsible for product development projects focused on the delivery of innovative, ambitious and competitive products across the sleep supplement category.This intern will participate on project teams to deliver technical solutions for innovation and renovation portfolio by applying their knowledge in the supplement industry, health and wellness services, as well as ingredient and process expertise to new and existing product platforms.This role requires clear technical understanding of projects from concept exploration & prototyping to refining and factory industrialization.Besides technical knowledge, strong communication & presentation skills are needed for success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and present analytical data of current market trends, areas of opportunity, and viable marketing strategies.
• Perform detailed research on biological pathways and mechanisms related to functional health benefits and aspired-to claims.

Qualifications

• Computer Skills: SAP, Slack, Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Power Point, Word, and Access
• Highly motivated, critical thinker, goal oriented and easily adapts to change
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high performing environment
