Research Analyst Jobs

American Honda Finance Corporation (dba Honda Financial Services and Acura Financial Services), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., helps to satisfy the financing needs of consumers of Honda and Acura vehicles, Honda and Acura accessories, as well as Honda motorcycles, power equipment, and marine products. AHFC offers financing in the form of both retail installment sales contracts and leases, depending on the product and the needs of the customer.

About This Position

The Research Analyst will conduct market research and analysis to support overall strategy development and new business innovation. They will contribute to the development, presentation, and implementation of short, mid-term and long-term strategic plans to help position AHFC for competitive advantage and a successful transformation to the future of Honda. The analyst will conduct periodic organizational/operational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and recommend improvements. They will research industry trends and use industry knowledge and experience to formulate sound recommendations to support objectives and budgets

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Contribute to other business units
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Participation on AHM committees and AHFC projects and vendor meetings
• Conduct market research and prepare analysis to understand AHFC competitive landscape
• Work closely with the Manager on presentations and implantation of short-, mid- and long-term strategic plans

Who Are We Seeking

• Ability to understand internal and external customers
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels of management
• Work experience must include 3+ years in related industry/field
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management across all Honda companies
• Excellent research skills; Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• BA/BS degree required in finance, business, or related fields

• Competitive Base Salary: $68,700-103,000
