Research Associate Jobs

Tenacious Research Associate II/III wanted! Our client in South San Francisco is building out their Platform Technology group, and they are looking for a teammate who thinks critically and has the desire and ability to learn new techniques. This position requires adaptability and an ability to perform at a high level in a dynamic environment.

You will leverage your background in biology and technical experience with in vivo discovery and assay development. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for generating samples for collaborating teams as well as working within the group to optimize and improve the platform. Good record keeping and organizational skills are invaluable in this role as well as scientific tenacity applied to solving problems. Technical skills include laboratory animal handling, dosing, and takedowns, as well as maintenance and care of post-surgery animals.

General Requirements:

• At least two years of industry experience with in vivo biology and assay development
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and learn new skills
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in the biological sciences or a related field
• Proven experience working with animals e.g. handling, dosing, blood draws, anesthesia, etc.

Nice-to-haves (but not required):

• Tail vein experience

The anticipated salary range for this role is $80-100,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity etc.
