Reporting Analyst

No hiring a Reporting Analyst to support the planning and allocation team, reporting directly into the SVP of the department. This role will take the lead in developing, enhancing, and overseeing vital reports that serve their planning, distribution, and merchandising sectors. This role is for an analytical thinker with a flair for business technology, and comes with 2+ years of retail reporting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise between the IT sector and Planning & Allocation, enhancing tools and processes.
• Engage with various stakeholders to comprehend data and reporting needs.
• Drive the introduction of new reporting methods and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain proficiency in data structures, transforming it into actionable insights.
• Produce essential analytical reports for informed business decisions.
• Design, refine, and troubleshoot data queries.
• Develop and manage advanced data models.
• Address primary report inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity.
• Validate report and data accuracy.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and strategy-driven assignments.
• Design, optimize, and uphold reports for Planning and Allocation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in retail reporting/BI, data analysis, inventory management, or stock replenishment.
• Demonstrated capability to establish solid partnerships and contribute to multi-functional teams.
• Acquaintance with Microsoft Access and Tableau is a bonus.
• Skilled in SQL for direct database analysis and report creation.
• Bachelor’s Degree necessary.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency.
