Repair Technician Mechanic Jobs

Overview:

The Repair Technician will provide on-site maintenance and repair service to Wine Warehouse. This includes repair of conveyor systems using hand power tools and diagnosing electrical and/or electronic problems.

Salary and Benefit Statement:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM
• Salary: $28.00 - $33.00 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Ability to evaluate safety equipment (such as guards and rails) to determine proper installation and functionality
• Electrical troubleshooting and electrical component replacement
• Ability to conduct and document system audits
• Replacing and aligning sprockets
• Installation and repair of conveyor belts of all kinds (includes lacing)
• Replacing gearboxes and motors
• Ability to evaluate conveyor transport to confirm proper functionality
• Ability to evaluate and confirm that all pneumatic and hydraulic equipment is functioning properly
• Tracking of conveyor belts of all kinds
• Ability to evaluate proper lubrication
• Organize and inventory spare parts in work area
• Replacing power and idler rollers, pulleys, and bearings (includes drive chains)

Qualifications:

• Ability to install electrical components such as motor starters, circuit breakers and e-stops
• Ability to troubleshoot, adjust and replace Photo Eye and Proximity Sensors
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with proper selection and use of power and hand tools
• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance including pneumatic and hydraulic equipment repair and service – a plus
• Valid driver license
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices
• Good phone and in person communication skills, able to use email, text, and other electronic communication devices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
• Ability to work within an operating facility with the requirement to practice, train others, and uphold safety standards and requirement of industry, OSHA, Wine Warehouse
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
• Millwright experience preferred, including onsite welding and fabrication – a plus
• Ability to install and configure VFD parameters (new and existing)
• Experience with conveyor or other equipment maintenance and repair
• Able to complete OSHA training and follow all safety guidelines

Includes bending, squatting, reaching, walking, standing, carrying, and lifting average of 50 pounds or more. • Must be able to see with specific vision abilities which include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Lifting of 50 pounds or more repetitively throughout work hours.
