Refrigeration Repair Technician Jobs

• Responsible for coordination and prioritizing repair tasks in a timely manner to reduce downtime.
• Orders and maintains inventory of equipment parts as needed.
• Performs major and/or minor repairs, as well preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment.
• Inspects and verifies the operation and safety of commercial equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, installs, rebuilds, adjusts and replaces refrigeration equipment.

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.

• Expert knowledge of single systems, display cases and walk-in boxes
• Must have knowledge of basic computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls; good mechanical skills
• Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions
• Awareness of local, state and national codes
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of methods, equipment, and tools pertinent to the trade
• Must have good communication skills
