The Opportunity
As we continue to expand and transform the primary care experience, we're looking for energetic and passionate leaders to support the people, processes, and technology that make One Medical unique. As a Virtual Medical Team (VMT) Manager, Flex Labor you will be responsible for meeting One Medical patient promises of outstanding quality of care, access, and truly patient-centered experiences at an affordable cost. In collaboration with your manager, the National VMT Ops Leader, you will support the expansion of the Virtual Medical Team, which provides 24/7/365 virtual care now across the entire US partnering with in-office providers to provide a seamless patient experience for our members in person and out of office. More specifically, this role will support our flex labor team, including per diem and contractor vendors, in partnership with our virtual clinical leaders.

You take a holistic approach to improvement that positively impacts both patient and team experience. You are able to pursue improvement, developing processes and achieving a high level of success with execution, while taking into account multiple stakeholder requirements. You are interested in both supporting the best in class patient experience while building the future of virtual primary care.
What You'll Likely Work On
  • Run relationships with external vendors to drive vendor performance by accessing data, identifying areas of opportunity, following up on action items for weekly performance, and payment for services
  • Create a program for hiring, training, and managing a team of clinical contractors
  • Assist with the development of weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and action plans in partnership with key stakeholders such as the workforce management, central operations, and virtual care leadership
  • Own the management of our flex labor workforce by collaborating with our workforce management team and clinical leaders to ensure nationwide staffing coverage
  • Using the virtual care staffing model and hiring budget, decide on requisition details (schedules and timing) in partnership with your Regional Virtual Medical Directors and workforce management
  • Pull and analyze daily reporting data for patient response times, inflow, and team performance to understand and achieve performance goals in partnership with the Virtual Medical Directors, including driving internal per diem performance and management

At You'll Need
  • Experience using lean improvement and project management skills are a plus
  • Familiarity working with scheduling, staffing, and analytics software (Excel, Tableau, G suite)
  • 4+ years experience managing high performing teams, with a preference for experience in customer-facing teams and services
  • Experience in healthcare, particularly in collaboration with clinicians, is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to use data analytics to drive results and continuously improve workflows
  • 3+ year of officially managing relationships with external partnerships or vendors

The base hourly range for this role is $72,000 to $134,000 based on a standard full-time schedule. Total compensation packages may be based on factors unique to particular candidates, such as skill sets, depth of experience, and work location.
