Position Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of Travel sales in a call center environment. Accountable for sales, revenue, and profitability, staff development, and ensuring that all policies and procedures set in place by ACG are followed. Provides leadership, guidance, development, and direction to Travel Sales Center staff to optimize sales, grow revenue and ensure the highest level of service is delivered. Monitors calls for quality and evaluate individual and overall team performance. Resolves complaints from internal and external clients to ensure that a fair and positive outcome is reached. Assists management in developing expense and staffing budget projections. Communicates with vendors to resolve problems as necessary. Participates in the department process related to the selection, hiring, training and development, coaching, and counseling of assigned staff. Provides guidance and positive reinforcement to develop proactive sales skills, destination and specialization expertise, strategic use of Continuous Education program, and other training opportunities. Includes ongoing motivation and recognition of sales staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises Travel Counselors – TSC
Required Qualifications
Education:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience:
  • Two years travel agency or directly related work experience that includes successfully arranging or selling travel reservations/packages.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong PC knowledge that includes word processing and spreadsheets. MS Office applications knowledge is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have demonstrated sales and marketing abilities.
  • Problem-solving and complaint resolution
  • Creating goals and objectives for staff
  • Must have a positive and motivating attitude.
  • Negotiating with vendors to obtain quality service for members.
  • Must be organized and manage multiple projects at once with the ability to manage time wisely.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and develop employees as a team for success.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • CTC, DS, CLIA, CTIE certifications are preferred.
Total Compensation Overview:
Travel Sales Supervisors will earn a competitive annual salary of $54,643.68 - $97,156.80.

Work Environment
This is a remote call center position. Call Center employees work remotely full-time. An exception to this would be in the case of connectivity or service level issues, in which employees would be required to report temporarily to a designated ACG facility (if located <50 miles from an office) until connectivity or service levels are restored.
